Warren County High School Seeing Leadership Changes

Warren County High School is in the process of finding a new Executive Principal.

This, after current Principal Clark George moved into a role at the central office as the new 9th-12th Grade Instructional Supervisor. Director of Schools Grant Swallows said while change can be hard,

“Always at the end of the school year we take lots of different things into account and try to make our teams stronger,” Swallows said. “And move people where we think they can be successful and help our students the most.”

Swallows said that current assistant principals will have to reapply for their positions. He said that it’s important for the new executive principal to be able to pick their own team.

Swallows said that having been a high school principal himself, this is something he’s gone through before.

“Warren County High School is an academy model so the typical assistant t principal role we call an ‘academy principal because they’re the leaders of their different academies throughout Warren County High Schools,” Swallows said. “So we’re doing that in order to give the new principal the chance to pick their team. And we certainly encourage anyone who is currently ones if they want to continue in that role they can apply for that job.”

Swallows said that the job has been posted and that the plan is to have everything finalized before the school year begins.
