Vol State Requiring Masks Inside Due To Transmission Rates

Vol State will require masks in indoor setting effective Monday, based on CDC recommendations and guidance from the Chancellor.

Vol State said this is due to the current level of community transmission of COVID in the college’s service area. Masks will be required regardless of vaccination status.

The only exceptions to indoor masking will be in a private office or while dining. Masks will not be required outside, with Vol State saying that when cases counts drop, the mask requirement will change.
