National Weather Service reports an EF-1 tornado touched down in Crossville Sunday. The tornado had winds up to 95 miles per hour and was documented to be 50 yards wide. UC Regional Airport AWOS Upgrades Will Improve Local Forecasting

Upper Cumberland Regional Airport has completed upgrades on its Automated Weather Operating System and has installed the equipment for a present weather sensor.
