The need for transitional housing and employment has grown over the last year in Cookeville. Elsie Blaylock has been named the Director of UCHRA’s Van Buren County Head Start Program. Inaugural CASA Motorcycle Ride To Support Child Advocacy

UCHRA CASA is holding an inaugural motorcycle poker run to help raise money for four counties on Saturday. That includes Putnam, Overton, Cumberland and Smith Counties. UCHRA’s Early Head Start Program will not be expanding this year after the organization did not get needed grant funding.
