Monterey Receives $1 Million Grant for Stormwater Drainage Projects

The city of Monterey will use a $1.178 million grant to improve stormwater drainage. The city applied for the competitive grant meant for resource protection back in August. The Monterey Board of Aldermen is considering applying for a $600,000 FEMA grant to fix its storm water drainage system.
