Skeletal Remains Identified In Putnam County

The skeletal remains found during the March tornado search have been identified. Cookeville Police report the remains are those of 34-year-old Brian Matthew Keserich. Keserich was originally from Kentucky with no known last address. He is believed to have been homeless. The death remains under investigation. However, no foul play is suspected at this time. Autumn Woods Subdivision Moves Forward

The Putnam County Regional Planning Commission approved plans for phase one of the Autumn Woods Subdivision Tuesday night. The first phase will include 15 lots along Cumby Road. Cookeville Regional Resumes Outpatient Surgeries And Procedures

Cookeville Regional Medical Center resumed outpatient surgeries and procedures on Monday. Surgeons and staff are currently working to reschedule patients whose procedures had been postponed. Monterey’s Water and Sewer Committee will recommend and present a water rate increase to the Board of Mayor and Alderman at Monday night’s meeting. Water Treatment Plant Supervisor Duane Jarrett said the five percent water rate increase compensates for the increased cost of living. Man Ejected From Motorcycle In I-40 Crash

A tractor trailer and a motorcycle collided Saturday afternoon on Interstate 40 blocking traffic for several Hours. 47-year-old Jason Barley of Springfield merged onto I-40 westbound from exit 268 just after Noon.
