Deadline for Tennessee Promise Scholarship Approaching

Students have until November 1 to fill out their application to receive the Tennessee Promise Scholarship. Extension Of Monterey’s Rail Trail Begins

The town of Monterey has broken ground on its Project Diabetes walking trail. The trail will connect Burks Elementary and Monterey High School to the existing trail. The city of Monterey completed the next step in connecting its city assets with walking trials and sidewalk. Stubbs Construction of Crossville won the bid to construct sidewalks to provide safe walkways for students of Burks Elementary and Monterey High School.
