Late Tuesday night, while executing a traffic stop, Cumberland County sheriff’s deputies observed the driver – Joseph Robert Altum, 23, of Crossville – acting overly nervous. Crossville City Manager Gives Update on Tax-Collection Figures

Crossville City Manager Greg Wood presented his monthly sales tax-collection report at the City Council meeting Tuesday night. Overall, sales-tax revenues have been good, he reported. Sales-tax revenues for September were down slightly from August, at $692,879. Wholesale beer-tax income is off a little from projections, coming in at just over $64,000 for September. Local Woman Charged with Possession of Meth in Crossville

Following a traffic stop Tuesday afternoon, Cumberland County sheriff’s deputies arrested a Crossville woman for felony manufacture, delivery, sale or possession of meth.
