Cookeville City Council passed a handful of budget amendments Thursday night in preparation for the 2023-2024 fiscal year-end. Talisha Ward hired as Gainesboro’s new municipal court clerk. Gainesboro Mayor Lloyd Williams said Ward came from the Jackson County 9-1-1 Department.
