Cookeville Police have obtained an arrest warrant for a man who allegedly detained and sexually assaulted a woman at a motel Wednesday. Former Cumberland Co. EMS Supervisor Pleads Guilty To Theft Charges

The former Cumberland County Emergency Medical Services Supervisor has pleaded guilty to theft charges in court. 47-year-old Randy Lee Davidson has pleaded guilty to two counts of theft under $1,000. The TBI has accused Davidson of stealing fentanyl from the county ambulance service and falsifying more than 50 controlled substance documents. Davidson will be sentenced August 9th. He faces up ... Gainesboro Man Charged With Child Rape

Putnam County authorities have charged a Gainesboro man with rape of a child. 53-year-old Joe Edward Cherry was arrested this morning. He’s also charged with two counts of aggravated sexual battery.
