Juvenile Taken Into Custody In West End Shooting; 18-Year Old Victim IDed

A juvenile suspect has been taken into custody by Cookeville Police after a Friday shooting at Cookeville’s West End Park. The name of the suspect is being withheld, according to Cookeville Police Spokesperson Anthony Leonard. 18-year-old Demarcus Hughes of Cookeville died as a result of the shooting Friday.
