TCAT Crossville welcomes potential students to campus Tuesday to explore its available programs.
College Preview Day will showcase the 18 programs available on-site. Student Services and Marketing Coordinator Jena Demars said the event target anyone looking to advance their education. Demars said they are heavily looking to connect with graduating young people.
“We hope to grab their attention by getting them to believe in what we do here at the TCATs,” Demars said. “All of our faculty, staff, our president, vice president, all of us strongly believe in what the TCAT system can do so we’re hoping by that tour, by the end of it, future students will also be invested.”
Demars said that students are provided the tools for a great career, with many entering their studied industry in 20 months or less. The event will be held Tuesday beginning at 9am.
“We look forward to meeting future students, hearing about their interest, and seeing how we as faculty and staff can help get them to their next career goal,” Demars said.
Demars said the day itself will consist of an hour-and-a-half tour of the campus, in which students will see all 18 shops on location. Demars said after the tour concludes, students will then be encouraged to re-visit any shop that spurred their interest.
