Cumberland County To Conduct Landfill Maintenance

Cumberland County commissioners have approved a budget amendment for conducting repairs and maintenance at two previously closed landfills. Celina’s Cumberland River Hospital will permanently close its doors on March 1, due to insufficient revenue and financial losses. A Cookeville man faces charges after police found more than 90 prescription pills Thursday and a loaded handgun.
