CPD Arrests Two on Meth, Felony Firearm Charges

Cookeville Police arrested two people Monday following suspicious activity at T-Mart on North Willow Avenue. Authorities charged 23-year-old Sara Hammons of Cookeville, and 24-year-old Dustin Click of Arkansas, with possession of methamphetamine, possession of a firearm during a dangerous felony, and theft. Lake Tansi Shooting Case Heading to Grand Jury

A Cumberland County grand jury will meet next week  to consider indicting a Clarkrange couple charged with murdering a Lake Tansi woman. 35-year-old Doneal Clark and 35-year-old Kirk Clark face one count of first degree murder in the January 19th shooting death of Linda Damewood.
