Collision Leads to Arrest of Monterey Man

A Monterey man faces multiple charges following a collision Wednesday. Authorities arrested 37-year-old Jarrad Pechie for leaving the scene of an accident and driving under the influence. Putnam County Officials have charged a Hilham man with drug charges after he broke into a residence Tuesday. Authorities arrested 28-year-old Cody Adams for the possession of methamphetamine. Election Signs May Be Prohibited At Cumberland Co. Courthouse

The Cumberland County Building and Grounds Committee has unanimously voted to prohibit election signs from being placed on the courthouse grounds. The move comes after commissioners received several complaints from residents and businesses.
