Cookeville Man Arrested After Police Find 97 Pills

A Cookeville man faces charges after police found more than 90 prescription pills Thursday and a loaded handgun.

Cookeville Police have charged 34-year-old Quinn Piere Hogan with sale and deliver of a controlled substance and possession of a firearm during a felony.

Arrest warrants said police encountered Hogan sitting in a pickup truck behind the apartments on Autumn Avenue.

Officers located a cloth bag in the bed of the pickup that contained 97 pills of Oxymorphone and Oxycodone. Hogan also had a loaded Glock handgun in the driver’s seat, according to the warrant.

The warrant states that Hogan had no prescription and there were different doses of the same substance.

Hogan was arrested and has posted $25,000 bond. He will make a court appearance on March 4th.
