Two Arrested After Meth Bust In Algood

Algood Police arrested two Alabama residents after locating a felony amount of methamphetamine during a traffic stop Friday. Police issued promotion of methamphetamine charges to Jessica Juarez and Nicholas Johnson. Two Killed In Warren County Crash

A crash killed two people on Highway 8 in McMinnville Friday. The Tennessee Highway Patrol identified the deceased as 45-year-old William H. McConnaughey of Pikeville and 45-year-old Michael Kelly Ruth of Texas. Monterey Awarded Tourism Grant For Bee Rock

The State of Tennessee has awarded Monterey a $67,500 Tourism Enhancement Grant. Contract Approved For New Manager Mills

Putnam Schools See Slight Decrease To Budget Gap

The Putnam County School System’s $8.838 million budget gap has decreased by $9,000. The additional revenue comes from the latest funding estimate for the Basic Education Program (BEP).
