A Monday morning fire destroyed a single-wide trailer in Monterey. Man Arrested On Meth, Firearm Charges In Algood

An Algood traffic stop led to the arrest of a Cookeville man on meth and firearm charges Friday. 38-year-old Daniel Armstrong faces charges after initially being pulled over for a window tint violation. Monterey Man Dies In Friday Jamestown Crash

A three-vehicle crash led to the death of a Monterey man Friday and injured three others. 57-year-old David Smith died as a result of the crash.
