Cookeville Police arrested a homeless man Sunday for stealing a vehicle and allegedly choking a woman. 55-year-old Jack Tucker faces aggravated assault, kidnapping, and theft charges. Cookeville Man Arrested For Meth At Eastwood Inn

A Cookeville man surrendered 16 grams of meth during a drug investigation at the Eastwood Inn Monday morning. The Cookeville Police Department charged 24-year-old Michael Aaron Malesevich with manufacture, sell, delivery, and possession of methamphetamine. Saturday Crash Kills One Person In Crossville

One person died after a crash on Genesis Road in Crossville Saturday. The Tennessee Highway Patrol identified the deceased as 63-year-old Richard Webb of Sunbright.
