Baxter Water Department To Close For Half Day On Wednesdays

Baxter’s Water Department hours are changing.

The board of aldermen voted to close the department to the public a half day on Wednesdays.

Water Superintendent John Ramsey said the schedule change will allow staff to catch up on administrative duties.

Ramsey said the drop box will remain available for payments. He said if the 10th falls on a Wednesday they will extend the payment due date to the 11th.
