19 Kindergarten Students Enrolled In Capshaw Lottery

Nineteen kindergarteners from outside Capshaw Elementary’s attendance area applied for 20 available slots at the school. Priest Pleads Guilty To Theft From VFD

Former Hardy’s Chapel Volunteer Fire Department Chief Terry Priest has pleaded guilty of a theft charge. TDOT Suspends Construction For Holiday

Travelers won’t have to worry about construction on Tennessee roads this weekend. TDOT announced it will suspend all road construction from noon Friday until 6 a.m. Tuesday. Brothers Rescue Baby Sister From Crossville House Fire

Two older brothers rescued their toddler sister from the fire that took the family’s house in Crossville last week. An elderly man reportedly committed suicide on Cookeville’s Winston Drive Monday. Cookeville Police declined to identify the man because his family hadn’t been notified yet.
