Algood City to Vote on Proposed Budget

The Algood city council will vote on the first reading of the annual budget Tuesday night. The proposed budget calls for a property tax of 0.4887 dollars per one hundred dollars of assessed value on all real and personal property. The budget includes funding for various capital projects. Tennessee Tech to Hold Commencement Ceremonies

Tennessee Technological University will hold two commencement ceremonies on Saturday. The first ceremony awards graduates from the colleges of arts and sciences, engineering, interdisciplinary studies and the school of nursing.
