Cookeville Officer Finds 1.1 Pounds Of Pot During Traffic Stop

Cookeville Police located more than one pound of marijuana during a Tuesday traffic stop. Officers charged 40-year-old Daniel R. Hensley of Knoxville with possession of a controlled substance. The incident happened on Interstate 40 when Officer Joseph Williams pulled over a vehicle for a registration violation. Williams identified Hensley as the front seat passenger. Wanted Man Last Seen In McMinnville

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has asked the public for help in locating a wanted man. Carl Winton Rich was last seen March 30 near the Northgate Shopping Center in McMinnville. Most Wanted Subject Arrested In Cumberland County

A member of the TBI’s Most Wanted list has turned himself in to Cumberland County authorities. State Troopers arrested Christopher Allen Taylor early Tuesday morning. The 31-year-old Taylor is being held at the Cumberland County Justice Center. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation issued an alert for Taylor on Monday. THP Helps Locate Airplane Stolen From Jackson County

The Tennessee Highway Patrol has helped locate an airplane stolen from Jackson County earlier this year.
