Charter Bus Catches Fire In Cumberland County Yesterday

15 North Carolina high school students escaped injuries yesterday when their charter bus caught fire on Interstate 40 in Cumberland County. Caleb Cannon Found Guilty In Murder Of Nikki Burgess

A jury has found Caleb Cannon guilty of murdering a former Cumberland County resident. The verdict returned Monday after a week-long trial. Cannon was accused of killing Nikki Burgess in May of 2014. Brinkley Sentenced To Eight Years For Sexual Exploitation Of A Minor

A McMinnville man will spend eight years behind bars after pleading guilty to the charge of sexual exploitation of a minor this week. More parking will be added in downtown Cookeville. High School Teacher Placed On Administrative Leave Amid Crash Investigation

Cumberland County School officials have placed a special needs education teacher on administrative leave amid a deadly crash investigation. 36-year-old Meghan E. Wilson is charged with DUI and vehicular homicide.
