Another ATV accident has left a Cumberland County teenager with injuries. The accident happened Wednesday on Deck Road. ATV Accident Sends 17-Year-Old To U.T. Medical

An ATV accident left a 17-year-old injured in Cumberland County yesterday. The incident happened on Cold Springs Road, approximately one mile from Potato Farm Road. Officials say the juvenile went airborne and crashed. He was airlifted to U.T. Medical Center for treatment to a head wound and leg fracture. Algood’s Tuesday Council Meeting Rescheduled To Friday

The Algood City Council had a lack of a quorum during yesterday’s regular scheduled meeting. The council meeting will now be held Friday. Council members will be voting on new commercial sanitation fees, the upcoming fiscal year budget, and selecting Ben Benson to serve on the city’s Board of Zoning Appeals. Joey Rich Elected As New Mayor Of Celina

Celina voters have elected Joey Rich to serve as the town’s new mayor. Rich defeated former Alderman Charlie Goad by receiving 373 total votes compared to Goad’s 131 votes. Cookeville Man Arrested Following Residential Burglary

Putnam County authorities have charged a Cookeville man with two counts of aggravated burglary. 48-year-old Michael Christopher Poston was arrested late last month following a residential burglary on Stone Seminary Road. Crossville Native Fatally Stabbed In Chattanooga

A Crossville native has died after being stabbed in Chattanooga Sunday. The body of 30-year-old Ashley Cates was discovered Sunday night inside her apartment complex. Authorites have charged 57-year-old Tyrone Murphy with criminal homicide and tampering with evidence. Police said that Cates had just moved to the apartment and that Murphy was a neighbor.
