Man Sentenced to Six Years for Killing Crossville K-9

A man accused of killing a K-9 from the Crossville Police Department was sentenced to six years in prison Thursday. 29-year-old Dustin Lee Dixon pleaded guilty to three charges after stabbing a K-9 last August during a pursuit with CPD officers. Board Gets Update On Project To Extend Walking Trail

Monterey continues to make progress on extending the town’s walking trail. Cultural administrator Julie Bohannon said the engineering contract for the project was completed July 1 she hopes to have bids out by August 1.
