Moody Charged Following Pursuit Spanning Multiple Counties

A man allegedly discarded 500 grams of methamphetamine from his vehicle during a pursuit with Cookeville Police. Authorities arrested 30-year-old Dustin Moody after the chase ended in Wilson County Wednesday morning. UCHRA Awarded $635K Substance Abuse Grant

The Upper Cumberland Human Resources Agency (UCHRA) has received a $635,000 grant for combating substance abuse. Glen Sayes is the UCHRA Regional Substance Abuse Coordinator. No injuries reported after an outbuilding behind a Putnam County home caught fire Wednesday morning. A Cookeville man has landed behind bars for a Monday morning vehicle pursuit. Cookeville Police charged Rocky Joe Smith with evading arrest and driving on a revoked or suspended license.
