TBI Identifies Suspect In Officer-Involved Shooting

An Overton County resident remains hospitalized for injuries sustained during a shootout with Warren County deputies Monday. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has identified the man as 66-year-old Charles Ray Bean. TBI Investigating Officer-Involved Shooting In Warren Co.

Warren County deputies shot and injured a man following a brief vehicle pursuit Monday morning. Officials with the Tennessee bureau of Investigation said the unidentified suspect received treatment at a Chattanooga hospital. None of the officers sustained injuries during the incident. Bridgestone To Expand Warren County Plant

Bridgestone America announced Friday plans to expand its tire manufacturing plant in Morrison. The Nashville-based company said it will spend $40 million to add 32,000 square feet to its Warren County plant, where it produces commercial truck and bus radial tires. Water Boil Advisory Lifted In Monterey

A water boil advisory for Monterey residents has been lifted. Water plant supervisor Duane Jarrett said water samples came back clean this afternoon, allowing the advisory to end. Jarrett and state officials implemented the water boil advisory yesterday morning after a water main break drained the town’s entire water supply.
