Tech Moving Forward With Nuclear Engineering Program

The Tennessee Higher Education Commission approved Tennessee Tech’s new program in nuclear engineering Thursday. The bachelor’s degree anticipated to begin this fall with a starting group of 10 students. Fifteen new courses are being developed for the program. Livingston Acquires New Infrastructure Data System

Livingston approved the purchase of a geographic information system (GIS) designed to map the city’s water and wastewater infrastructure. School systems around Overton County considering up to $5,000 salary increases for teachers, causing concern for the Overton County Board of Education. The Overton County School Board opened an investigation Tuesday night into the alleged misconduct of Director Donnie Holman.
