CPD Officer Arrested, Placed on Administrative Leave

The Cookeville Police Department has placed Officer Kyle Farley on administrative leave after his arrest in White County. Captain Bobby Anderson released a statement saying Farley was arrested Thursday by the White County Sheriff’s Office in conjunction with the District Attorney’s office. Cookeville Regional Medical Center (CRMC) announced Tuesday the first baby born at the facility for 2019 is a girl. CRMC released a statement saying Isabel Yojana Hernandez-Ramirez was born just after 12:32 a.m. Tuesday, weighing seven pounds, 14 ounces, and measuring at 18 inches along. Her parents are Juana Ramirez- Cano and Miguel Hernandez Bartalome. Authorities Investigating Shooting Death in Crossville

Authorities are investigating the shooting death of a Crossville man after he was found injured Tuesday.
