CRMC Introduces New Orthopedic Robotic Surgery System

Cookeville Regional Medical Center (CRMC) has added the Upper Cumberland’s first robotic orthopedic surgery system. CRMC released a statement Wednesday saying the new NAVIO technology does not require a pre-operative CT-scan for total knee replacement surgeries. Cookeville Woman Arrested After Drugs Found In Bra

Algood Police arrested a Cookeville woman Thursday morning after a search revealed methamphetamine and other drugs in her bra. Arrest warrants state the officer recognized and approached 32-year-old Tiffany Julian at the Algood Walmart who had a capias for failing to appear in court. Court Rules Former Inmates Can Pursue ‘Sterilization’ Lawsuit

A federal appeals court ruled Thursday former White County inmates can pursue a lawsuit against a judge who offered ‘sterilization’ for shorter sentences. A Trousdale County Grand Jury has indicted a Hartsville man on multiple rape charges. The TBI announced Thursday 25-year-old Ricky Presley faces five counts each of rape and aggravated statutory rape after having sexual relations with a minor. Authorities have charged a Trousdale County man in connection with a Hartsville homicide case. A missing Lake Tansi teen has been spotted near Cleveland and Dalton, Georgia.
