Two Arrested After Heroin Found During Traffic Stop
Two Cookeville residents were arrested Wednesday night after police found heroin during a traffic stop. Arrest warrants state 53-year-old Laura Sue Pariso and 38-year-old Amber Simpson were charged for tampering with evidence and delivering or selling a controlled substance. Three DeKalb Inmates Charged After Assault In Jail
Authorities have charged three female DeKalb County inmates after assaulting another inmate. 20-year-old Emma Flesher, 26-year-old Natalie Barrett, and 40-year-old Rebecca Pelfrey face one count of assault and are each being held under $2,500 bond.
