More Than 3K Jobless Claims In UC

Some 3,295 Upper Cumberland residents filed first-time unemployment claims last week. That’s up from 86 claims for the week ending March 14. Two Vehicle Crash At Cumberland Utility Stop

A Crossville man suffered injuries Wednesday morning when he rear-ended a truck stopped for a utility crew. 27-year-old Andrew Ingram faces multiple charges including failure to use a hands-free device. The number of Volunteer Energy customers without power has been reduced Wednesday to just 15. Ten White County homes remain without power while just two homes are without power in Cumberland County. Putnam Co Schools End Door To Door Food

A lack of staffing will end the Putnam County Schools’ door-to-door food delivery Wednesday. Grab-and-go food service will still be available at 12 schools countywide through the month of April.
