White Planning Commission Approves Preliminary 19 Lot Subdivision And Three Final Plats

A preliminary plat for a new subdivision at Duck Pond Road has been approved by the White County Planning Commission.

UCDD Staff Planner Tommy Lee said 19 lots proposed to subdivide some 10 acres.

“It is an existing county road,” Lee said. “An existing water line was already in place, and before the final becomes approved, they’re going to install two proposed new hydrants.”

Lee said some five acres were left out of the plat for future development of the subdivision. Lee said the final plat could be approved as soon as April’s meeting if the developer installs the hydrants in time.

The Planning Commission also approved three final subdivision plats: three new lots on Charles Golden Road and two unrelated lots larger than five acres on Old Cookeville Road and Burgess Falls Road.
