The White County Board of Education approved its 2022-2023 school calendar Thursday.
The first day of school comes August 5th with the year ending on May 19th. Fall break is the week of Columbus Day and spring break is the last week of March.
Director of Schools Kurt Dronebarger said there will be no Saturday instruction days next year. A difference from this year with the last day of school falling on Saturday, May 21st.
The 180 day schedule was reviewed and recommended from the teacher advisory board. The fist semester has 89 days and the second has 91 days.
