Obituaries For Wednesday, May 1

Funeral services for William “Bill” Wright, age 73, of the Muddy Pond Community, will be conducted on Thursday, May 2, 2019, At 1:00 PM at the Pilgrim Christian Fellowship Church, 3068 Muddy Pond Road, Monterey, Tennessee. The family will receive friends at the Pilgrim Christian Fellowship Church on Thursday, May 2, 2019, from 11:00 AM until the time of services at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow in the Weeks Cemetery. There is so much to say about Bill, to know him is to love him. He was quite the character. Funny, witty, charming and known for his story telling of the good ole’ days. He was a generous man with a big heart that loved the Lord. He was also a simple man that didn’t need possessions to be happy, he used his time on earth to be helpful and serve others. Bill was born In Keiser, Arkansas, and lived in many different places throughout his life and loved to travel, but the place he called home was a little house on a hill (that he called his mountain) in the community of Muddy Pond. Everyone knew that on any beautiful day, he could be seen doing what he loved the most, riding around on his 4-wheeler visiting people and going entirely too fast! This community and the people in it meant so much to Bill. He was intentional in the way he kept in touch with people to let them know he cared for or was thinking about them. If you asked him, “Bill, how are you doing today?”, he would tell you “Justrite!”
