Private family funeral services for Mr. Travis Ray Anderson, age 89 of Cookeville, will be held Wednesday, September 9th at 10:00 a.m. in the Cookeville chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Rev. Kevin Conrad will officiate. COVID precautions will be observed and masks are required. Entombment will follow at Crest Lawn Cemetery. Travis passed away Monday, September 7, 2020 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Travis was a member of First United Methodist Church of Cookeville. He loved people and surrounded himself with family, church and friends. He will be remembered as quick witted and sharp as a tack, with the ability to spin any recollection into a grand story. He is survived by his wife Charlovene Looper; daughter, Susan (and husband Art) Napolitano of Franklin; son, Wesley Anderson of Lebanon; and grandsons. Graveside Services for Dewey James Dunn, age 74, of Baxter, will be held on Wednesday September 9, 2020 at 2:00pm at the Dobbs Cemetery. Bro. Fabron Nicholson will officiate at the service. The Family encourages everyone to please wear a mask and practice social distancing at the cemetery. Dewey James Dunn was born on October 9, 1945 in Putnam County to the late Alphus and Eula Mae Gambrell Dunn. He passed away on September 4, 2020 in Putnam County. Mr. Dunn was a member of the Rock Castle Emanuel Church of Christ and Retired from T.T.U. after many years of service.
Celebration of Life for Robert “Bob” Frank Miller, II will be held Thursday, September 10, 2020, at 3:00 pm from the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home with Bro. Jackie Dawson officiating. Interment will be at a later date at Baird Cemetery in Hickman, Tennessee. He passed from this life on Friday, September 4, 2020, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. Bob was a loving son, brother, husband, dad, and grandpa. He was loved by all that knew him and he will be greatly missed. Bob is survived by, Wife, Lisa Miller; Son, Kevin and Keiann Miller; Daughter, Andrea Miller. The family will receive friends, Thursday, September 10, 2020, from 11:00 am until time of service at Crest Lawn Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends on Thursday September 10, 2020 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. She passed away Sunday, September 6, 2020 at Cookeville Regional. Brenda was born on August 26, 1948 to the late Jesse and Ruby Hale in Sparta, TN. Mrs. McCormick was a member of Oak Grove Church of Christ and worked in the medical field all her life. Surviving family include Husband, of 55 years Gordon McCormick, Daughter, Ashley McCormick.
Graveside services for Diane M. Schimberg, age 63 of Baxter, will be held Saturday, September 12, 2020 beginning at 10:00 am at Smellage Memory Gardens Cemetery. Interment will follow in Smellage Memory Gardens, Boma, TN. Diane passed from this life on Wednesday, September 2, 2020, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Diane was a loving wife, sister, aunt and friend to all who knew her. She worked many years in housekeeping at Knights Inn and Best Western Motel. She was an animal lover, and loved flea marketing, garage sales, and searching for antiques with her husband Charles. Diane is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Charles Schimberg of Baxter.
A memorial service for Mrs. Patricia Ann McClellan Sherrell, age 78 of Sparta, will be held 11:15 am Sunday, September 13, 2020 at the Sparta First Presbyterian Church. Rev. David Eisenmengar will officiate. She passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at Life Center of Sparta.
