Mrs. Jean Elizabeth Davey Krantz, age 84, of Rickman, passed from this life on Monday night, September 30, 2019 from the Overton County Health & Rehab. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
Funeral services for Kenney R. Garrison, 56, of Gainesboro, will be held at 1 P.M. on Wednesday, October 2, 2019, at Anderson – Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro. Burial will follow in the Hensley Cemetery in the Freewill community of Jackson County. He passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2019, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born April 16,1963, in Jackson County, to Willee Garrison and the late Charlie Garrison. He worked as a tree trimmer. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by 1 Son: Bryan Garrison; 1 Daughter: Ashley Garrison; and 4 Sisters: Donnetta Garrison, Reda Garrison, Sandra Garrison, and Kathy Garrison. Survivors include 1 Daughter: Alora “Alexis” Garrison of Celina; 3 Grandchildren: Greyson Divens, Addilyn Garrison, and Myla Divens; his Mother: Willee Garrison of Nashville; 2 Nieces; and 2 Nephews. Other relatives and friends also survive. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 10 A.M. until time of services.
Funeral Services for Fredrick “Fred” David Hall, age 73 of Sparta, will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, October 2, 2019 in the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in the Oaklawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Tuesday Evening. Charles Martin will officiate the services. He passed away Saturday evening, September 28, 2019 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born January 14, 1946 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Johnny Fred and Lillian Hattie Belle England Hall. Fred was also preceded in death by his brother: Joe William Hall and a sister: Betty Jean Spry. He enjoyed fishing in Catfish Tournaments and was an avid bowler.

She loved her family dearly and enjoyed being with them all the time. Mildred also loved her dog “Little Man”. Joyce worked hard for her family, she always put others before her and was very honest. She loved her family especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed playing volleyball, basketball and coaching softball. Joyce is survived by: 3 Daughters: Bonnetta Whitehead, Barbara Jones, Sheila Whitehead. 1 Son: Joey Whitehead. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She leaves behind one sister Carolyn and a brother Jimmy. Burial will follow in the John Young Cemetery in the Shiloh community of Jackson County. He passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2019, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born October 17, 1944, to the late Verble F. Wade and Mildred M. Wade. On April 22, 1968, he was married to the late Linda Lucille Pippin Wade, who passed away May 3, 1999. He was a retired pipeline superintendent, and was a member of the Shiloh Church of Christ. He served in the U.S. Army 35th Combat Engineers during the Vietnam War. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by 3 Brothers: Fred L. Wade, Michael Ray Wade, and Anthony (Tony) Gene Wade; and 2 Sisters: Pauline (Polly) Martin and Sheila Wade Glover. Survivors include 1 Son: James Verble Wade and wife, Sabrina of Bloomington Springs; 1 Daughter: Paula Denise Byers and husband, Keith of Cookeville; 8 Grandchildren: Hailey Byers, Tanner Wade, Allison Byers, Payton Wade, Gatlen Wade, Wyatt Byers, Mason Wade, and Emily Wade; 1 Great Grandchild: Weston Byers; 1 Expected Great Granddaughter: Ariel Kate Wade; 2 Sisters: Frances Wade Poston of Baxter, and Linda Sue Wade Bellamy of Nashville; and 3 Brothers in Law: William Glover of Lebanon, Dewey and Nancy Pippin, and Roy Pippin. Mrs. Lee was born July 26, 1933 in Sparta to the late Casto & Celesta Pogue Bradley, Sr. She was a homemaker and loved her church and family.
