Linda Carol Daniels,70, of Cookeville, passed away Sunday, August 23, 2020 in Cookeville. No services are planned at this time.

Clifford Junior Navy,93, of Sparta, passed away Sunday, August 23, 2020 in Sparta.  No services are planned at this time.

Mrs. Lorraine Eliza, 73 of Cookeville died Sunday August 23, 2020 at 2:43 am in Signature Health Care of Putnam County in Algood. Arrangements are incomplete.

Mrs. Thelma Johnson, age 90 of Cookeville died Sunday August 23 at 6:23 am in NHC of Cookeville. Arrangements are incomplete.

Funeral services for Johnnie “JB” Brown, age 79 of Cookeville, will begin at 4:00PM on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at Thurman Funeral Home. Interment at Corinth Cemetery. Officiating will be Pastor Richard Felts. Brown was born October 1, 1941 in Sparta to the late Beecher and LouElla Brown. Early in his life he hauled livestock for many years before buying Brown’s Mobil located on Bockman Way in the 70s. He then moved north to work for Rax Inc. where he worked 17 yrs before moving back to Tennessee. He then became employed for the White County Litter Control where he worked 20 years and never missed a day of work.

Funeral services for Mr. Bruce Gritten, 56 of the Cherry Chreek Community, will be held Thursday August 27 at 10 am in the chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Nash Cemetery in White County. Bruce’s family will receive friends Thursday from 9 am until service time at the funeral home. Bruce died Saturday August 22, 2020 T 5:30 am in Cookeville. The family will have visitation on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 from 1:00 PM-4:00 PM at Thurman Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Mr. Fowler Thomas “Tommy” Seibers, age 63 of Sparta, will be conducted 1:00pm Thursday, August 27, 2020 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Mt. Gilead Cemetery. He passed away Monday, August 24, 2020 at his residence. Tommy was born August 20, 1957 in Walling, Tennessee to the late Jonas & Pauline Smith Seibers. He was a retired fork lift driver for White County Lumber, where he served for over 35 years. He was an avid outdoorsman, loving to fish and go camping. Tommy also enjoyed going to flea markets and yard sales on the weekends. Survivors include his wife of 23 years Evelyn Davis Seibers, and his son, Thomas Ross Siebers. The family will receive friend Wednesday from 4-8:00pm at Hunter Funeral Home. Perry Clayton will officiate.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Nettie Lou Colson Daniel, age 74, of the Willow Grove Community will be conducted 2 p.m., Thursday, August 27, 2020 from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home. Bro. Kevin Strong will officiate. Burial to follow in the Willow Grove Cemetery. Mrs. Nettie passed from this life on Monday morning, August 24, 2020 from her residence. She was born in Clay County on March 14, 1946 to the late Arvil & Bertie Mae Wright Colson. Nettie was a member of the Willow Grove Church of Christ. She enjoyed going to church and listening to gospel singing. Nettie loved being outdoors, sitting on her porch, and traveling, She loved her family dearly and was a very kind and gentle person. Nettie leaves behind her husband, J.T. “Boykin” Daniel of the Willow Grove Community; daughter, Patricia Boles & husband Jason of the Willow Grove Community; and son, Jerry Dewayne Daniel of the Willow Grove Community. The family will welcome friends on Wednesday evening from 5 until 9 p.m. at the Livingston Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Mr. Keith Weitzel, age 72 of Cookeville, will be held on Friday, August 28, 2020 at 11 AM from the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Livingston with burial to follow in the Zion Hill Cemetery in the Rickman Community of Overton Co. Family will welcome friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening, August 27, 2020 starting at 4 PM until 7 PM.

A Celebration Of Life for William “Bill” James Sevier, Age 71 of Cumberland Cove Community, On Saturday August 29, 2020 At The Home Of Bill And Linda In Cumberland Cove From 5 PM To 7 PM. he passed On To Heavenly Glory On Monday August 3, 2020. Mr. Sevier, Was Born On January 19, 1949 In Salisbury, Maryland, To The Late George Franklin And Gwendolyn Jackson Sevier. Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, And Friend Is Survived By: His Wife Linda Of 49 Years. Sons Brian (Dani), Kevin (Nikki), Greg (Rachelle). Bill’s Loves Were Hunting, Fishing, Civil War history, Deer And Bird Watching, And Chatting With His Buddy Bobby. Bill And Linda Served As Missionaries In Jamaica Which Was A Springboard To Serving The Lord For His Entire Life. He Led Numerous Bible Studies, Men’s Groups, Leader Of Men’s Ministries And Was An Ordained Minister. He Dedicated His Professional Life To The Education Of Children In Salisbury, Maryland And Broward County, FL For Over 35 Years.

Memorial services for Franklin Delano Conner Sr., age 75 of Cookeville, will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday August 30 at the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home. Pastor Jason Stanford will officiate. Frank passed away Monday August 24, 2020 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1 – 3 p.m.
