Mrs. Dorthy Brown 86 of Cookeville died Thursday May 28, 2020 at 5:47 a.m. in Bailey Manor in Cookeville. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.

Ms. Cherry N. Smith, age 82 of Livingston passed from this life on Wednesday afternoon, May 27, 2020, from Livingston Regional Hospital. She was born in Overton County on July 16, 1937, to the late Luke Lea and Martha James Mabrey Smith. She enjoyed walking with her friends, and spending time with her cats. She was a member of the Livingston Church of Christ. Cherry leaves behind her nieces Jamie Bournes and husband Devin “Chad” of Livingston, Jennifer Hawkins of Camdon, Amber Matthis of Camdon, and Kayla Endingen of Camdon; great nephew Corbin; great nieces Kennedy and Payton Lea; sister Lois Evans of Camdon; and brother Gene Smith of Livingston. In addition to her parents, Ms. Smith was preceded in death by her sister-in-law Kay Smith and brother Jay J. Smith. There are no sevices scheduled at this time.

Stanley Joseph Klement Jr., age 71 of Cookeville, passed away Tuesday morning, May 26, 2020 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born February 12, 1949 in Paterson, NJ to the late Stanley Joseph Klement, Sr. and Zora Steakley Klement. Stanley was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Vietnam War. He was a former employee of Acme Boot and Masters Nursing Home now Signature Healthcare in Algood. He is survived by his wife, Monica Reagan Klement, whom he married June 4, 2004; daughter, Shannon Henry and husband Steve; stepson, Nick Thompson; sister, Janice West and husband Mike all of Cookeville; grandchildren, Taylor, Eli and Jayden Henry. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.

Funeral services for Pope Elton Allen, age 75, of Cookeville, will be held on Friday, May 29, 2020 at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Whitson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Morgan-Pippin Cemetery. Bro. Johnny Fox will officiate. He was born on February 3, 1945 in Jackson County, TN to the late Abner and Dona(Jackson) Allen. He was also a member of Holiday Church of Christ. Pope is survived by his wife: Reba (Wheeler) Allen (whom he married June 26, 1965). His brothers: Shirl(Lenora) Allen, Donnie(Peggy)Allen; His Sisters: Sue(Denny) Turney, Beverly(George)Papuchis; His Brothers-In-Laws & Sisters-In-Law: Dewey(Nita)Wheeler, Billy(Pam)Wheeler, Edith Upchurch, Dorothy Harris, Mary Waller, & numerous nieces & nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister: Evelyn (Rellon) Petty & brother: Dalton (Louise) Allen, his father-in-law & mother-in law: Haskell & Sadie Wheeler, brothers-in-law: Gene Wheeler, Ed Harris, Grover Upchurch, & Jerry Waller.

Funeral services for Mrs. Lois Jackson age 77 of Livingston, Overton Co., will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2020 at 10 AM from the West End Church Of Christ with burial to follow in the Sells Cemetery in Monroe, Overton Co. She passed away on Thursday, May 27, 2015 at the Centennial Medical Center in Nashville. Mrs. Lois Jackson was born in Monroe, TN on to the late Thurman Kennedy and Ruth Smith on March 5, 1942. Survivors: 1 Son: Robert Jackson; 4 Grandsons: Brandon Jackson, Grayson Jackson, Brad Jackson, Cody Jackson; 2 Great Grandson: Peyton and Jayden Jackson; 2 Great Granddaughters: Braelynn and Rheaven Jackson; 2 Sisters: Rita Goodpasture, Tammy Norris. Preceded in death by: In a addition to her parents, Her Husband: Kenneth Jackson; 1 Sons: Mark Jackson; 2 Sisters: Joyce Spears, Judy Carol Kennedy. Family will receive friends at the West End Church Of Christ on Friday evening, May 29, 2020 starting at 5 PM until 8 PM.

Celebration of Life services for Mrs. Marie Louise Richardson, age 73 of Allons, will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, May 30, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston. Bro. John Keith will officiate. Mrs. Richardson passed from this life on Monday morning, May 25, 2020, from the comfort of her residence. She was born in Portland, Oregon, on October 29, 1946, to Beryl Anne Craig Dunn and the late Robert Howard Dunn. She loved gardening, enjoyed horses, and adored her grandchildren. She often attended home demonstration shows, enjoyed going to the county fair, and loved to go to church. Mrs. Richardson leaves behind her son Jason Paul Richardson and wife Brook of Kansas City, Missouri; mother Beryl Anne Dunn of Allons; sister Jo Ann Gorsuch and husband Marvin of Alliance, Nebraska; seven grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. In addition to her father, Mrs. Richardson was preceded in death by her husband David Gene Richardson and brothers Raymond George Dunn and Edwin Howard Dunn. The family will welcome friends on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m.

A Memorial Service for Sandra Kay Clary, age 73 of Cookeville, will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at Oak Lawn Funeral Home with Dewey Young officiating. The family will welcome friends from 9:00 AM until time of the service at the funeral home. She passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2020 at 2:30 AM after a long illness. Sandra grew up in Huntington, West Virginia with her parents, Willis and Anna Porter. She worked in the nursing field for many years. She loved arts and crafts and her Barbie Doll Collection. She will be dearly missed. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Kevin Dale Clary. She is survived by: Husband Roger Dale Clary; Daughter Christina Lynn DeWeese (Kelly).

Memorial services for Sigrid Karoline Marie Miller, age 76 of Sparta, will be conducted 2:00pm Saturday, June 6, 2020 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00pm Saturday at Hunter Funeral Home. Dewey Young will officiate. She passed away Sunday, May 17, 2020 at Erlanger Hospital. Sigrid was born on May 3, 1944 in Boxburg, Germany to the late August Lindner and Hildegard Lindner Kifer. Sigrid studied in Lebanon where she earned a Masters Degree in Theological Studies. Sigrid later became a contracting officer negotiating several high profile contracts between the United States and Germany. She received several awards of recognition of excellence in her field. Sigrid spoke seven languages and could write in five. She was very knowledgeable about health and medicine. Sigrid loved to cook, sew, travel, read and entertain. She loved life and everyone in it. She never met a stranger and would help anyone with her gracious heart.
