Graveside Funeral Services Will Be Conducted On Friday, March 22, 2019, At 11:00 AM At The Stamps Cemetery. Rev. Eddy Way Will Officiate. Mr. Boronda Was Born On June 24, 1985, In Crossville, To Janella Melton Of Monterey, And Calvin Boronda Of Cookeville. Mr. Boronda Passed Away On Monday, March 18, 2019, At The Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Mr. Boronda Was A Laborer. In Addition To His Parents, He Is Survived By His Wife, Samantha Boronda Of Monterey; Maternal Grandparents, Haskell And Shirley Melton Of Monterey; Father-In-Law And Mother-In-Law, Billy And Donna Baker Of The Hanging Limb Community. The Family Will Receive Friends At Goff Funeral Home On Thursday, March 21, 2019, From 5:00 PM Until The Time Of Services At 7:00 PM And At The Stamps Cemetery On Friday, March 22, 2019, Immediately Following The Services. Funeral Services for Mr. Billy Gene Sidwell, age 81, of Livingston will be conducted 2 p.m., Friday, March 22, 2019 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Bro. Phillip Buck will officiate. Burial will follow in the Turkey Town Cemetery. The family will welcome friends on Thursday evening from 5 until 9 p.m. at Speck Funeral Home. Mr. Billy Gene Sidwell passed from this life on Wednesday morning, March 20, 2019 from the Livingston Regional Hospital. Billy was born in Overton County on April 13, 1937 to the late Daisy Sidwell. He worked at the Handle Mill for many years. Billy enjoyed chewing tobacco, hunting, listening to country music and loved his children and grandchildren very much.
Celebration of Life service for James Edward Qualls, 89 of Baxter will be Friday, March 22 at 2 PM from the Baxter Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery. Mr. Qualls died Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at his home. He was born June 10, 1929 in Cisco, Georgia to the late Sam and Mamie Wells Qualls. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers Ben, Bob and Charles Qualls. He was a retired materials handler with McCords of Cookeville. He also did masonry work throughout the Upper Cumberland area. He enjoyed working in his garden and hunting. He was a member of Cedar Hill Baptist Church. Survivors include wife of 59 years ( Married February 2, 1960 in Chattsworth, GA) Jewell Harville Qualls of Baxter, daughters and sons-in-law Sonja and Dan Dickson of Cookeville, Sharman and Todd Farris of Baxter, sons and daughters-in-law James and Marilyn Qualls of Baxter, Taylor and Tonya Qualls of Cookeville, grandchildren: Britnee and Tim Farestad, Justin and Chelsea Qualls, Coty Gardner and fiancee Lauren, Joshua and Brianna Qualls, Tyler Qualls, great-grandchildren: B.J. and Landon Farestad, Noah and Titan Qualls and Layla Gardner. Family will receive friends Thursday from 3 to 8 PM and after 9 AM Friday at the funeral home.
Graveside services for Maudie Karen (Dedmon) Buchanan, age 60 of Cookeville, will be held Saturday, March 23,2019 beginning at 11:00 AM at Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery with interment to follow. Karen passed from this life Tuesday, March 19, 2019, at her home in Cookeville. She was born Sunday, July 20, 1958 in Cookeville she was the daughter of the late Douglas Dedmon and Mary Williams Wallace. Karen was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and friend to all who knew her. She was a foster parent to several children over the years, and a member of Midway Baptist Church. In addition to her Mother, she is survived by her husband of 42 years, James “Jim” Buchanan of Cookeville. 1 Daughter and Son-in-law: Angel and David Wiley of Hayden, AL; 1 Son: Charles E. Buchanan of Cookeville; 1 Stepdaughter: Elizabeth Thornton of Cookeville; 2 Grandchildren: Ulrich Wiley of Hayden, AL, Thatcher Wiley of Hayden, AL; 1 Brother: John Dedmon of Cookeville; Adopted Sister and Brother: Kylie Wallace of Cookeville, Devin Wallace of Japan. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her Stepfather: Talmadge Wallace. The family will receive friends after the service at Midway Baptist Church on Old Kentucky Road. Funeral Services for Mrs. Janet Ledbetter Geesling, age 65, of Hilham will be conducted 12 noon, Saturday, March 23, 2019 from the chapel of the Livingston Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Fisk Cemetery in Hilham. Mrs. Janet passed from this life on Thursday morning, March 21, 2019 in the comfort of her home. She was born in Overton County, Tennessee on January 17, 1954 to the late Lester & Iris Imogine Greenwood Ledbetter. Janet worked for many years for Hutchinson. Janet was a hard worker who enjoyed cooking, and talking on the phone with her friends. She never met a stranger and loved caring for her children and grandchildren. Janet leaves behind her loving husband, Roy Geesling of Hilham; sons, Roy Joe Geesling of Monroe, and Matt Geesling of Livingston; grandchildren, Eden, Kassidy, and Jaylyn Geelsing; great-grandson, Kannan Tompkins; sisters, Janie Johnson, of Hilham, Regina Beaty & Jason of Monterey, and Rita Ledbetter & husband Bruce of Alpine; brothers, Mark Ledbetter & wife Vicki of Hilham, and Leon Ledbetter & wife Patty of Gainesboro. In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Barlow. The family will welcome friends on Friday evening from 5 until 9 p.m. at Livingston Funeral Home.
Funeral services for Mr. Robert Frank Anderson, age 96 of Cookeville, will be held Saturday, March 23rd at 1:00 p.m. at Cookeville First Presbyterian Church. Interment with military honors will follow at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. His family will receive friends Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until service time at the church. Mr. Anderson passed away Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

The family has chosen cremation. She passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2019, at her residence. She was born January 16, 1943, in Louisville, KY, to Evelyn Wilding Goss and the late Raymond Goss. She was married to Fred Mattick, who survives. She worked as an assistant accountant in human resources for the State of Kentucky. She was a member of the Gainesboro First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her Father: Raymond Goss. Survivors include her Husband: Fred Mattick of Whitleyville; 1 Son: Marlin Mattick of Elizabethtown, KY; 2 Grandchildren: Josh and Alysha Mattick of Louisville, KY; 2 Great Grandchildren: Trystan Allen Mattick and Sommer Christine Robnett, both of Louisville, KY; her Mother: Evelyn Goss of Westport, KY; 2 Brothers: Kimberly Goss and Kreil Goss, both of Westport, KY; and Special Friends: Tammy Chapman of Gainesboro, TN, and Shirley and Ed Dyer of Baxter. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 25, 2019, from 10 A.M. until time of services.
A Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Gary Levon Seibers, age 67 of Quebeck, will be held from 10am until 2pm on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Quebeck Community Center. Gary passed away Sunday, March 10, 2019 at NHC in Sparta. He was born November 5, 1951 in Sparta. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Lee and Mable Bernice Hutson Seibers; sisters, Etta Ruth Seibers Dailey and Linda Frank Seibers Smart. He is survived by: Sons- Gary Levon Seibers Jr. (Bobbie) of Sparta, Steven Seibers of Sparta, Jamie Seibers of Sparta; Several granchildren also survive; Brothers- Harold Seibers of Quebeck, Carl Seibers of Sparta, Jerry Seibers (Betty) of Walling, Dwight Seibers (Helen) of Quebeck, Troy Seibers of Quebeck; Sisters- Joyce Matheney of Sparta, Anna Seibers of Livingston, Rhonda Seibers of Quebeck. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
