Visitation for Martha Bryan Fields, age 87 of Algood, will be held on Monday evening at Whitson Funeral Home from 5:00-8:00PM and Tuesday Morning from 9:00AM till time of the service at 11:00AM. She passed away unexpectedly on October 5, 2019 at the age of 87 at Signature Healthcare in Algood. Martha and Franklin Fields united in marriage on April 5, 1970 in DeKalb County, Alabama. She professed Christ at an early age, and was affiliated with New Hope Church in Jackson County, Tennessee. Floyd Searcy and Phillip Morgan will officiate. Burial will follow at Phillips Cemetery.

Jason Lewis officiating at Oak Lawn Funeral Home with burial to follow at Old Bon Air Cemetery. Mrs. Blalock passed away Sunday, October 6, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family. Mrs. Blalock was born September 26, 1951 to the late Mirel and Elizabeth Wightman Kirby. She was happily married to William F. Blalock for six and a half years. Mrs. Blalock enjoyed working in her flower garden, helping other people, most of all spending time with her family. She was a member of Bon-De-Croft Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by; Husband of 40 years- Jimmy Wayne Young, Brothers- Allen C. Kirby, Henry F. Kirby, Anthony M. Kirby, and Jerry D. Kirby. Survivors include; Husband- William F. Blalock of Sparta, Son- Brian E. Young (Mary) of Sparta, Grandchildren- Daniel Young (Crystal) of Sparta, Brad Emberton (Angela) of Smithville, Zack Young (Marllory) of Sparta, Great-Grandchildren- Charlee Young, Marshall Young, and Cash Emberton, Brother- Noel Kirby of Sparta; And several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Lacey Jade Vaughn, 12 of Baxter, will be Wednesday October 9 at 1 PM at Baxter Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Thurman Mathis Cemetery. Bro. Houston Austin will officiate. Miss Lacey died Saturday night, October 5, 2019 at Monroe Carrell, Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt in Nashville. She was born November 13, 2006 in Cookeville to Lonnie and Diane Mathis Vaughn of Baxter. She was a 7th grade student at Upperman Middle School in Baxter. She attended Jared Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed music and being read to and horseback riding. Family will receive friends Tuesday from 4 to 8 PM and after 10 AM Wednesday at the funeral home. Family will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made toward medical and funeral expenses.

Mrs. Hall passed from this life on Saturday, October 05, 2019 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Hall was born in Allons on August 31, 1930 to the late John and Lizzie (Smith) Sidwell. Jeanette was a homemaker she loved her family, especially her grandsons; her and Pa always took them somewhere to eat in the summer and after school. Jeanette could tell you about hard times growing up. Her father died when she was little and she quit school in the third grade to go to work in the fields. She loved to tell of growing up and walking to different places. She was the youngest of seven children. She is going to be greatly missed. Survivors: 1 Son: Jerry Hall and his wife Gina; 2 Grandsons: Matthew Hall and his fiancé Kristy Lawson, Dalton Hall and his wife Katie; 3 Great Granddaughters: Oakley Hall, Kimberly Peek, Amelia Lawson; A host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, family also survive. She was born July 20, 1940 in Putnam County to the late Joe Hilary and Effie Velma Cooper Livesay. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by husband Willie Roy McHenry, sisters Sheila Earline (Clarence Vestle) Nelson and Lillian Jo (John Estle) Nelson, brother Clarence Burton Livesay. She was a graduate of Algood High School. She was a homemaker and member of Baxter Church of Christ. Survivors include brother and sister-in-law James Douglas “Bud” and Lori Anne (Hutchings) Livesay of Sparta, brother-in-law and sisters-in-law Claude and Carolyn McHenry of Baxter, Judy (Brown) Livesay, several nieces and nephews.
