Carole Ann Ayers, age 62, of Alpine passed away Sunday, December 15, 2019 at Signature Healthcare of Putnam County in Cookeville. She was born Saturday, June 1, 1957 in Livingston to the late Homer Paul and Magdalene Stover Paul. Arrangements are incomplete.
Graveside services for Mr. F.C. Pruett, 86, of Gainesboro, will be held at 1 P.M. on Tuesday, December 17, 2019, at the Pharris Cemetery in the McCoinsville community of Jackson County. There will be no visitation or services at the funeral home. He passed away on Friday, December 13, 2019, at Mabry Health Care Center in Gainesboro, TN. He was born January 9, 1933, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Jim Pruett and Mary Ann Pruett. He was married to the late Jannie Louise Pruett, who passed away October 29, 2013. He was a construction worker and farmer, and was affiliated with the New Salem Church of Christ. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Fred Pruett; and 2 Sisters: Lola Stafford and Mable Pruett. Survivors include 1 Son: Billy (Janie) Pruett of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Step Grandsons: B.J. Henley and Micah Iyer; 2 Step Great Grandsons: Alex Henley and Timothy Henley; and 1 Sister in Law: Modine Lynn Pruett of Gainesboro, TN.
Funeral services for Mr. James Barney Dale, age 69 of Hilham, will be conducted 2 PM Tuesday, December 17, 2019, from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home. Bro. Donnie Bull and Bro. Roger Phillips will officiate. Burial will be in the Maxwell Chapel Cemetery. The family will welcome friends on Monday evening from 5 until 9 PM. Mr. Dale passed from this life on Friday evening, December 13, 2019, from Bethesda Health Care. He was born in Overton County on April 25, 1950, to the late Wilson and Anna Mae Bilbrey Dale. James loved spending time with his grandchildren, being around people, petting his dog Brownie, taking Brownie for rides, and enjoying life in general. Mr. Dale leaves behind his loving wife Diana S. Dale of Hilham; daughter Peggy Hall of Hilham; granddaughters Courtney Phillips and husband Clinton of Livingston and Railee Collins of Livingston; great grandchildren Isabella Melton, River Phillips, and Briar Phillips’ sisters Hilda Cox of Hilham and Betty Brown and husband Raymond of Livingston; and several nieces and nephews.

Donna passed away Saturday, December 14, 2019 at her home in Algood, Tennessee following a brief illness. She was born Thursday, September 19, 1957 in Anderson, Indiana to Mary Mayzell Thompson Raines and the late Harding Mitchell Raines. Donna was a loving wife, mother, daughter and aunt. She loved and fostered many animals, and loved gardening. For over 30+ years, she worked as a LPN at Cookeville General Hospital and Masters Health Care/Signature. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her twin brother, Donald Ray Raines; sister in-law, Janine Raines; 2 nieces, LeAnn “Sissy” Raines and Chantal Alyjah Gomez. He was born in Overton County, Tennessee on January 29, 1928 to the late Grover & Virgie Dickerson Hooks. Earl was a member of the Shiloh Church. He loved his wife and family. He enjoyed raising Beagles & Trading them. Earl also enjoyed going to Church and doing church work. Memorial Services for Kenneth Earl Hamilton, 33 of Cookeville, will be held Tuesday, December 17, 2019 beginning at 6:00pm from the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home with Pastor Bobby Davis officiating. He passed from this life Sunday, December 15, 2019, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born Sunday, June 1, 1986 in Phoenix, Arizona , he was the son of Kenneth Hamilton and Thelma Osborn Yates. Kenny loved camping, fishing, hunting, and being outdoors. During his struggles in life he gave his life to the Lord, and tried to help as many people as he possibly could. During the last year Kenny had made the decision to continue helping others after his death by being an organ donor. He was the first in Tennessee to donate his heart to The Heart in a Box Foundation which the family was told would save thousands of lives by setting a precedence for the study of Heart Research after heart attacks occur. Kenny is survived by: 1 Son: Harley Hamilton of San Antonio, TX; Mother and Stepfather: Thelma and John Yates of Cookeville; Father: Kenneth Hamilton of Texas; Allan Garrison who helped to raise him like he would his own son; 1 Brother: Judd Garrison of California; 3 Sisters: Tara Kadunce of Knoxville, Lindsay Holloway of Baxter, Alexa Barnett of Knoxville; Numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. Funeral services for James “JIM” Lloyd Watson, 85 of Baxter, will be Wednesday, December 18 at 1 PM from the Baxter Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Crest Lawn Cemetery. Mr. Watson died Saturday, December 14, 2019 in NHC Healthcare of Cookeville. He was born September 22, 1934 to the late Grady and Sallie Nixon Watson. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by sisters Jewel Price, Ruth Wilson, Carlene Helm and Lois Clemons, brothers Jim Grady Watson and Robert Carlon Watson. He was a cattleman, farmer, raised tobacco, trained mules and walking horses. He worked at Clemons Gulf in Silver Point for 35 years. For the last 34 years he has enjoyed spending time with his girlfriend and dancing partner, Betty Lewis. Survivors include daughters Debi Watson of Gordonsville, VA, Cindy Sellers of Portland, TN, son and daughter-in-law Jimmy and Lisa Watson of Baxter, grandchildren: Katherine Buchman, Hannah Buchman Patel, Samuel Stubbs, Daniel Martin, Kalen Sellers, Michael Sellers, James Watson, Tessa Schahfer and Jeremiah Watson, great-grandchildren: Alyssa, Gabriella, Abel, Gavin, Mayah and Malachi.
