Albert Lynn Glosser, Jr., age 63 of Gainesboro, died Saturday in Nashville. He was born August 13, 1957 in Peru, IN. He was the son of Albert Lynn Glosser, Sr. and Darlene Spann Glosser. He was a sawmill operator and farmer. Mr. Glosser was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his three sisters, Daisy G. (Kenneth) Davis of Gainesboro, Lynda G. Gale of Gainesboro and Carlene (Barry) Goolsby of Goodlettsville, TN; his ex-wife Frances M. Glosser of Carthage. The family has chosen to honor his wishes of cremation and no services are planned at this time
Private graveside services and interment for Mrs. Eddie Aline DeLoach, age 83 of Cookeville, will be held Tuesday August 18 at Cookeville City Cemetery. Dr. David Lipe will officiate. Mrs. DeLoach passed away Saturday August 15, 2020 at her home. She was born November 4, 1936 in Dickson County, TN to the late James and Mollie Bishop Lowe. Mrs. DeLoach was a member of Willow Avenue Church of Christ. She formerly worked at Third National Bank in Nashville, owned Yarn and Shuttle in Cookeville, and was an administrative assistant at Happy Haven Children’s Home in Cookeville. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Clarence DeLoach, they married June 10, 1956; two daughters, Angie (Gary) Risley of Cookeville, Rhonda (Richard) Clark of Manchester, TN; two sons, Darrell (Karen) DeLoach of Cookeville, Craig (Nancy) DeLoach of Smithville. Memorial contributions may be made to the Clarence and Eddie DeLoach Endowment at Freed Hardeman University, or Alzheimer’s TN, 390 S Lowe Ave Suite I, Cookeville, TN 38501.
Funeral Service for Lorene Keen Bussell, age 95 of Cookeville, will be held Tuesday, August 18, 2020, at 11:00 am from the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home with Bro. Jason Gentry Officiating. Interment will follow in the Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery. She passed from this life on Saturday, August 15, 2020, at her home in Cookeville. Lorene was born Wednesday, April 1, 1925, in Celina, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Lannie and Ethel (Dubree) Keen. Lorene was a faithful member of the Jere Whitson Road Church of Christ for many years after she and Ernest returned to Cookeville. Visitation with the family will be held Monday, August 17, 2020, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Tuesday, August 18, 2020, from 10:00 am until time of service at Crest Lawn Funeral Home.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Kay Francis Smith, age 77 of Cookeville, will be conducted 12 noon, Tuesday, August 18th, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston. Bro. Marlon Winningham will officiate. Burial will be in Hunter Cove Cemetery. Mrs. Smith passed from this life on Saturday morning, August 15, 2020, from the comfort of her residence. She was born in Overton County on April 8, 1943, to the late Earl Ray and Oriene Norris Winningham. She loved reading Stephen King novels and working crossword puzzles. Helping anyone in need was her first priority. Mrs. Smith leaves behind her son Mike Hoskins and wife Lynn of Georgia. The family will welcome friends on Tuesday morning from 11 am until the time of services at 12 noon. Funeral services for Mrs. Shannon Harvey, age 51 of Livingston, will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at 11 AM from the Chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Livingston with burial to follow in the Flat Creek Cemetery in Overton Co., TN. She passed from this life on Thursday evening, August 14, 2020 at her residence. Mrs. Shannon Parrigin Harvey was born in Austin, Travis Co., Texas on May 12, 1969 to Judy Sandlin Parrigin and the late Michael Parrigin. Shannon worked in the Criminal Justice System. Shannon was a loving wife to her husband David and a loving mother to her 3 children. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening, August 19th starting at 6 PM until 9 PM. Officiating the service will be Bro. Shane Warren.

She passed away Sunday, August 16, 2020 at her residence after a brief battle with cancer. Misty was an employee of US Bank. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 4-8:00pm at Hunter Funeral Home. Jeff Guth and Robbie Miller will officiate.
Funeral services for Billy Joe Howard Brogdon, 85 of Cookeville, will be held Thursday, August 20 at 1 PM at in the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. Interment with military honors by the Veterans Honor Guard will be in Cookeville City Cemetery. Mr. Brogdon died Sunday, August 16, 2020 at Bethesda Health Care Center in Cookeville. He was a Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War and served later in the National Guard. He was a member of Holladay Church of Christ. Billy retired in 1995 as a Firefighter with the City of Cookeville with 32 years of service. He is survived by wife of 64 years (married August 7, 1956), Phyllis Artha Pickens Brogdon of Cookeville. The family will recieve friends Wednesday from 4 to 8 PM and after 11 AM Thursday at the funeral home. Due to COVID-19, social distancing will be observed.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Dailey of Cookeville; his Son, Billy Dailey of Cookeville; and Daughter, Donna Martin of Cookeville. She was born in Overton County, Tennessee to the late David & Nannie Jane Hensley Richardson. She was a member of the Free Communion Church of Christ. Elva leaves behind her daughter, Brenda Lawrence of Springfield, TN. The family will welcome friends at the Graveside.

She was married to the late Liillard Maxwell for 56 years before his passing. She was a member Lilly’s Chaple Baptist Church. Jean is survived by her son, Danny Maxwell.

Bill And Linda Served As Missionaries In Jamaica Which Was A Springboard To Serving The Lord For His Entire Life. He Led Numerous Bible Studies, Men’s Groups, Leader Of Men’s Ministries And Was An Ordained Minister. He Dedicated His Professional Life To The Education Of Children In Salisbury, Maryland And Broward County, FL For Over 35 Years.
