She was born in Overton County on December 12, 1947 to the late Truman & Lola Coffman Hawkins. Ina Ruth was a 1965 graduate of Livingston Academy and a member of the Walnut Grove Church of Christ. Mrs. Ina Ruth leaves behind her children, Dwayne Ledbetter & wife Cynthia of Livingston, Waylon Ledbetter & wife Anita of Livingston, and Darrell Ledbetter of Livingston; grandchildren, Kyle Ledbetter, Dawson Ledbetter, and Abbie Ledbetter; sisters, Mary Dodson of Rickman, Maxine Ramsey of Livingston, Brenda Massengille of Livingston, and Thelma Sullivan of Rickman; brother, Bobby Hawkins of Livingston. Mr. Ford Passed Away On Wednesday, April 8, 2020, At The Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Mr. Ford Worked With Cookeville City Electric For Over 30 Years. He Was A Member Of Friendship United Methodist Church. He Was A United States Army Veteran. Visitation for Mr. Baxter Odell Hughes, age 71, of Rickman will be held Friday evening, April 10, 2020 from 6 until 8 p.m. from the Livingston Funeral Home. Mr. Baxter Hughes passed from this life on Wednesday afternoon, April 8, 2020 from the comfort of his home. He was born in Overton County to the late Lindell & Climma Ledbetter Hughes. Baxter was a school bus driver for 28 years, and loved all the kids he transported. He was a member of the First Assembly of God in Livingston. He enjoyed talking to people, and enjoyed fishing. His greatest joy was his loving wife, children and grandchildren. Baxter leaves behind his wife, Nancy Stinson Hughes of Rickman; son, Bobby Hughes & wife Shauna of Livingston; daughter, Kim King of Lavergne; grandchildren, Terron, Christopher, Cody, Ty, Payton, and Keonandre; brothers, Edd Hughes & wife JessAnn of Franklin, IN, and Keith Hughes & wife Judy of Livingston; several nieces and nephews and friends. In addition to his parents, Baxter was preceded in death by his brothers, Howard, and Bobby Eugene Hughes.
Graveside services for Mrs. Ina Mae Plumlee, 93, of Cookeville, will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, April 11, 2020, at the Moss Cemetery in Moss. There will be no visitation or services at the funeral home. She passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2020, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born February 2, 1927, in Celina, to the late John Thomas White and Buelah Mae Brown White. She was married to the late Ralph Moore Plumlee. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Liberty Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 2 Sons: Steven Moore Plumlee and Doyle Keith Plumlee; 4 Brothers: Fred Thomas White, Joe Frank White, James Esby White, and Robert White; and 1 Sister: Kathrine Russell. Survivors include 2 Daughters: Myra Haley of Cookeville, and Judy M. Garrison of Celina; 1 Sister: Linda J. Webb of Celina; 5 Grandchildren: Lori Dunham, Melissa Ann Holman, Colby Garrison, Stevie Plumlee, and Casey Plumlee; 8 Great Grandchildren: Brooke Dunham, Reagan Dunham, McKenzie Holman, Haylen Garrison, Harper Garrison, Harleigh Garrison, Jake Plumlee, and Ben Myers; and Special Cousin: Barbara Jo Hammer. Private Family graveside services for Bruce Ray Hunter, 63 of Cookeville, will be Monday, April 13 at Algood City Cemetery. Mr. Hunter died Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born July 29, 1956 in Cookeville to the late Ottis and Betty York Hunter. He was a graduate of Putnam County Senior High and member of Eastwood Baptist Church. Mr. Hunter was a retired janitor at Tennessee Tech University. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Patricia Steward Hunter (whom he married May 29, 1977 in Cookeville); three sons, Scottie, Jeffery and Brandon Hunter all of Cookeville; brother and sister-in-law, Jeff and Pam Hunter; aunts and uncle: JoAnn Hunter, Frank and Jean Gregory all of Cookeville.
