The price for water will increase for North Overton Utility District customers.
District board members approved a 10-percent water rate increase earlier this month. Officials implemented the rate hike after the City of Livingston approved a 10-percent water rate increase this summer.
Livingston currently supplies water to the utility district.
The price for 3/4 inch minimum will be $24.72 for 0 to 1,000 gallons, while a 1-inch minimum will cost $49.44 for 0 to 2,000 gallons. The amount for a 2-inch minimum grew to $74.16 for 0 to 3,000 gallons.
Each additional 1,000 gallons will cost $8.65 per thousand.
The new rates will be in effect for the October 10 billing due dates.
