A Crossville man suffered injuries Wednesday morning when he rear-ended a truck stopped for a utility crew.
27-year-old Andrew Ingram faces multiple charges including failure to use a hands-free device. Ingram travelling eastbound on Highway 70 near Deep Water Road. A step-van, driven by Sparta’s William Brock, was stopped for a utility crew. Ingram hit the van and came to rest of the right shoulder of the road. The van ended up in the eastbound lane.
Brock and a passenger in the van were not injured.
Ingram was using his cell phone prior to the collision. The accident happened about 9:15am.
