Two Vehicle Accident On Highway 70 Wednesday Night

A two-vehicle accident involving teens occurred on Highway 70 Wednesday night.

A 17-year-old Cookeville female struck the rear of a vehicle driven by 19-year-old Matthew Thomas Jones of Baxter. Jones was stopped on Highway 70 waiting to turn onto Plunk Whitson Road, when the 17-year-old failed to stop.

Jones’ passengers 21-year-old Micheal Jones Jr. and 18-year-old Emily Bright, both of Baxter, received possible injuries.
