Two Texas Residents Arrested For Drugs In Algood

Algood Police arrested two people from Texas on Sunday after finding multiple types of drugs during an investigation at Subway.

Officers charged Matthew Martin with being a fugitive from justice and simple possession of narcotics. Kimberly Grelle-Swint faces a methamphetamine possession charge.

Authorities came in contact with the defendants in the Subway parking lot after spotting an SUV with an open container inside.

A press release said officers found Martin possessing marijuana and a white, powdery substance identified as cocaine. Grelle-Swint allegedly possessed a crystal substance identified as meth and cannabis gummies she had purchased from Colorado.

Grelle-Swint is behind bars at the Putnam County Jail on $10,000 bond. Martin does not have a bond amount set at this time.
