The TSSAA released initial football region alignments for the 2025-2028 seasons, with several Upper Cumberland programs being affected.
York Institute is moving from the 2-2A region to the 3-2A region.
Jackson County is moving from the 3-2A region to the 4-2A region.
Cumberland County has dropped out of the 4-4A region and will play an independent schedule.
Warren County has dropped out of the 4-6A region and will play an independent schedule.
These changes are yet to be final and will be finalized at the TSSAA’s Board of Control meeting on November 21st. Schools can appeal the changes at the meeting.
